Carlotta hits Canberra

We were delighted to jump onboard the Lucas Restaurants train again in October when Chris Lucas opened Carlotta, his much-anticipated debut on Canberra’s restaurant scene.

Drawing inspiration from Chris’ travels through the trattorias and tavernas of Europe, Carlotta creates a distinctly Australian celebration of Mediterranean flavours, aesthetic and hospitality. You can expect antipasti, house-made pasta and wood-grilled meat and seafood from Mark Glenn’s menu that’s big on the comfort and sunshine-filled vibes, all designed for feasting and sharing against a chic backdrop of earthy hues, bespoke ceramics and terrazzo floors.

KDPO co-ordinated the Canberra launch which featured a dinner for key media and influencers alongside VIPs and industry leaders and an official ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr.

Carlotta’s launch attracted an excellent response in both local and national media with front page coverage in the Canberra Times, plus glowing coverage in Broadsheet Sydney, HerCanberra and radio station Hit 104.7FM. Another great reason to visit the nation’s capital.
